non contagious type - an immune deficiency.

Elton came from Show Low, AZ shelter: Dirty and sick his first stop was the
vets office. Second stop was to the bath tub. The ladies at the vets office
called him Molasses because he walks soooo slowly. After extensive medical
examinations by vets at Four Legged Friends, a cardiac specialist, and an
eye specialist, it has been determined that Elton will be a forever foster.
He has bad hips, bad heart valves, and two degenerative eye conditions. His
left eye is clouded to where he only sees shadows and his right eye will
continue along the same path. He will be blind one day. He must have 2
special eye medications every day for the rest of his life. His lungs are
very congested and he has 3 medications for that. He is a very sweet boy who
is only here today because of the care he has received from AZBHR. His
medical bills are adding up but AZBHR will continue to treat him until it is
his time to go to Rainbow Bridge. Elton has an inside home now, food,
medicine and people to care for him. He is learning to accept tummy rubs and
lets his foster parents know when it is time to eat.  Would you be his
