[Dailydrool] Another bright star

Whitney slipped over to the bridge this morning around 9.  She was surrounded with her friends and family. 
I wanted to thank each of you who sent notes and who kept her in your prayers.  Whitney donated  time helping in rescue with Suncoast Basset Rescue and also with Senior Houndsabound.  More than that though, she was my friend, and I will miss her very much.  
Some part of me feels a little better knowing she is with all our babies at the bridge.  And I know they are making her at home, and lining up for belly rubs from her.  I counted 31 of my hounds who are already ATB that she knew not to mention a few of her own that were waiting for her.  I am sure she has crossed with as many unwanted hounds who had no one to wait for,  she had a lot of love for the 4 leggers.

Whitney fought her cancer for a little over three years.  She was 43 yrs old.
