Bill here, press agent/personal trainer to Miss Angela Basset, Droop and Drool Diva of  Wichita and Sedgwick County

Miss Angela's birthday is March 6.  Be that as it may, her birthday party
and open house will be held the night before, on Friday, March 5.  The 
Open House will last from 4 to 8 (perhaps later).  Light refreshments 
plus a limited amount of beer and wine will be available, but picky or 
hearty eaters and drinkers may wish to bring their own particular 
favorites.  While Miss Angela expects everyone to bring some type of
birthday offering, Bill insists that this not be the case.  Or, failing that,
Bill hopes that offerings not blow her carefully maintained diet.  Miss
Basset will greet all attendees and most likely afford them an opportunity
to scratch or stroke various parts of her ample anatomy.  She wishes
to admonish those who last year got swacked on Bill's homemade
 limoncello to be a bit moderate and, even if they do overindulge to
be a bit gentler in their ministrations.  

Miss Angela will be seven years old, though she continue to aver 
that her age is still 29 in human years.  Please do not upset her
by implying otherwise.  In fact, to remain on her good side, comment
on the success of her diet and the sheen of her coat.  Then stand 
back or prepare to be licked.

Now, to the house cleaning.
