What color bag is that?
My Myrtle has had nothing but Iams from the time she was transferred
to me by my son who raised her her first year. I do give her and her
sister a 400IU gel cap of vitamin E daily and it seems to really
helps their coats. They think it's a treat. Myrtle is the only dog
that gets a crunch out of the gel caps.
My one problem with Iams and it might apply to other kibble is the
bulk density of it is dependent on the shape of the kibble. Chunks
that are nearly spherical have a low bulk density while ones that are
more pancake shaped are heavier. I have checked this and the amount
fed by volume can vary as much as 20%, which I think is
significant. IOW, a cup of the more dense kibble may weigh 110g
while the less dense weighs 90g. This could result in under- or
over-feeding, so we weigh the kibble.
YMMV,
