[Dailydrool] Gus's new years resolution

The first of the issues depends on how much space you need and how big the
bed is.

Next comes to the "pack" issue. Does it become an issue where he now feels
to be on your level in the pack? You will know when this starts to happen
if you attempt to move him and he grumbles. Some hounds as they get older
will grumble also for their discomfort in moving, but there are two types of
grumbles, quick snaps and longer ones when you nudge and slide him, etc...

be wary of both, until you pick up on the best way to move him, coddle to
make him more calm, etc. If it becomes an issue, its time to reward him
with getting *off* the bed when you get on it... and thus try to make the
impression you're more important than he...

i can't let him up there all night, as he takes up so much room, but i've
got a feeling he has other ideas.
so you could say i've created a monster. any downside to letting him sleep
there all night?
