[Dailydrool] Burglars in the house

2:30 am. I am home alone. James is still at work until 3 or 4 am.

I am awakened by the sound of soemone downstairs rifling through our house.
It sounded like they were moving pretty quickly, slamming drawers, pushing
stuff around, etc. I lay in bed for about a minute trying to wake up and
figure out if I really am hearing what I think I am.

I creep downstairs, cell phone in hand. (Honestly, not sure what the heck I
thought I was gonna do once I got down there, but I digress.)

Peek around the corner to see who is in the house and see 2 little hound
dogs digging through the trash which has been lovingly spread out through
the kitchen. While I did breathe a gigantic sigh of relief, I also spanked
two misbehaving houndies who were up way past their bedtime. Then I got the
pleasure of cleaning the kitchen floors at 2am.

Gotta love them bassets boys...always keeping me on my toes.
