Fifteen years ago, before there were rescue groups, the internet and a cellphone for everyone, we had a basset named Gunner. He was 2 and a friend of a friend had a basset. She wanted to use Gunner as a stud dog. Without knowing any better, we took Gunner to her house. Long story short...SHE LOST HIM. We never saw him again. 

Leave the breeding to the professionals. Don't risk your dog and someone elses for greed.
