[Dailydrool] Spencer on Prozac

At least one person misunderstood my post re: Spencer, so I want to clarify.  Don't want anyone looking for that AI dog again~  ;D

What they are doing with Spencer is absolutely the correct protocol as advised by their veterinary behaviorist.

My point in posting was to point out to others on the list that this will indeed work for a dog if done through a veterinary behaviorist like they are doing.  Frequently the key to the success is both the meds and the training together, and only a veterinary behaviorist can recommend both to work conjointly.  Many people see meds or training and think that is all there is, but there is a lot of behavior modification that is done after the meds are on board to make this a success, as Spencer is showing.
