[Dailydrool] hot head

I don't know if it's normal, but I think Frankie always feels a lot warmer to the touch than our other two non-basset dogs. I call him hot doggie. Maybe it's because the basset pea brain has to work twelve times harder than other dogs. (giggle)

p.s. Dis beez Fwankie. Me not find dis funnee. Not at all.

I have an odd question about bassets. Our 3 year old, Colbi, has a hot
head. No, I don't mean her temper! I mean her head is physically warm
to the touch. She doesn't appear to be sick and our other dog (not a
basset) doesn't have a hot head. Is this something normal for the
breed?

Thanks,

Jeni, Phil (the husband), Gali (the not-a-basset) and Colbi (110% basset)
