Last night my husband had insomnia. Feeling restless, around 3 AM he decided to take a long walk. So as not to alarm any neighbors who might see a lone man wandering the streets at this hour, Bill awakened one of our hounds, Harley, leashed him up and set off. Bill had a pin light on the end of his keys and a poop bag just in case. Harley did avail himself of the bushes about a half mile from our house. Bill set down Harley's leash so he could aim the key light with one hand and bag the deposit with the other. When Bill straightened up, Harley was gone. Bill called for him softly with no results. He waited in the same spot, calling softly for about five minutes. No Harley. The key light illuminated next to nothing and it was quite dark. Panicky, Bill jogged home to get a real flashlight and the car and start searching. Naturally, when he arrived home, Harley was curled up on the top step in front of the house, yawning, wondering why it was taking Bill so
 long to return to bed.
