[Dailydrool] Flat uh.,..NotaBasset

Went to the Vetspital the other day (no dogs) to pick up some pills for
Llewis who needed more Deramax. As I was leaving there was a woman coming in
with her long-legged mixed breed with some houndage in there someplace,
maybe coonhound, and as soon as the door shut behind the dog, he fell on the
ground-- SPLAT. Several people gasped, but I could tell from the look on the
woman's face that I had just witnessed a "Flat Basset" of excellent quality.
He was still laying there on his side, looking at nothing and his tail
thumping gently on the floor as I left. I laughed all the way home.
("You'all can take me there, but I ain't goin in.")

MomPerson to Nigel, Llewis, Conley (who has been known to FB when I try to
pick him up) and Cooper.
