[Dailydrool] body length

We have a 6 month old female puppy, who has the longest body. It measures 19-20 inches from the front of her shoulders to the rear of her hind quarters. She almost seems part dachshund. Is this a normal length, or is there a chance that she is a mix? The vet says she is pure Bassett, but I am skeptical.  Not that it matters to us, we are just curious.
