[Dailydrool] abandoned dogs

Those are beautiful dogs and I feel she must have cared for them very much and simply lost her sense of perspective due to the stress on going in her life. They did attempt to be responsible but were not able to get past that when it did not work out. Leaving the dogs in the dog park was stupid but at least she did not leave them loose on a country road. I would have been beside myself worrying about them but I think she must be beside herself already. At this point I think she was hoping that magically someone would come along and take them home. This is a hard time for a lot of people, they had been going along building their lives and suddenly everything gets knocked out underneath them. In the 30's children were often abandoned in much the same way, we have a safety net for parents now. In the present mood of the country I do not think animal rescue would get much sympathy so the private groups just keep on doing their best. These people fell through the rescue cracks. No one would have faulted her if she took all the dogs to a high kill shelter. Well, we would have, but she would not need to explain herself to anyone. Hopefully this incident will highlight the dilemmas people are face. More apartments need to allow pets. and I know pets can be terribly destructive and not all renters are responsible. Ther are just no easy answers,
