We are sending healing drool to you as well and hope you have a speedy recovery. 

It makes sense about it getting worse, she itches more and more since being on the good kibble. Is there anything I can put on it to help ease it? A cortizone or something?

  Jen,

  Give Cassiti at least a month on the new food to assess if it is helping.  Don't be surprised if the itching gets worse
  in the first 1-2 weeks as her body rids itself of the allergic toxin.  Sadie Maye took a month to see small improvements
  and a good 3 months to see big changes.  Now if I could just get rid of her grass/weed allergy....Sigh.
