[Dailydrool] Shedding

If you want your dog to shed at a particular time, start showing your dog.
Enter your dog in the Nationals. One week before the Nationals, your dog
will completely blow his or her coat and be naked, it doesn't matter what
breed it is, but long-haired, heavy-coated breeds are better at this than
shorthairs. Your Basset will just look kind of...moth-eaten. Long-haired,
heavy-coated dogs all look like coyotes.
I can absolutely guarantee this.

PS when you get to the show your dog will be the only dog there who has
blown coat.
