[Dailydrool] Tempting dog foods for non-eating dogs

During this past year, before Bo's ulcerative colitis was stabilized on a med. regime that works (Metronidazole and Budesonide), there were many days when Bo would eat nothing, and in fact at one point he was little more than a skeleton. (now he is chubby).

The vet had some sort of small can of food that smells especially terrible and was designed for dogs and cats who would not eat after surgery--sorry I don't recall the name. One of the something/D 's. Your vet might know.

But the one other thing that Bo would eat, even when he would turn down boiled chicken or broiled steak, was meatloaf. Couldn't say why, but he thinks meatloaf is the cat's meow. Worth a try.
