[Dailydrool] Tempting dog foods for non-eating dogs - Not for the weak stomachs

I have found the stinkier the better. Sometimes that will be cheaper, stinkiest
cat food (ugh) available. Raw Green Tripe is probably the worse stink ever. Think
lots of fresh green cow poop. My gang goes nuts for it but get no kisses afterward.
Peee-UUUUU! Raw hamburger works sometimes as well but I do include the juices.

Bazzle did start eating post surgery when we baked him some ribs with just a
bit of garlic powder. We didn't let him keep the bone. I don't have much luck with
chicken in a non-eater just because it doesn't have much of a smell. I did find if I
make splits in a chicken breast stuffed it with sharp cheese, sprinkled with a bit of
garlic powder then braised it I can usually get the non-eater to eat.

The other thing that may work is a liver with egg yolks (full of vitamins). I run it through
the food processor and the furkidz never turn it down. I will usually give them just a
little bit then start pouring 1/4 cup on the regular food that I pre-soak. Of course they are a
huge fan of homemade liver jerky.

Which brings me to the next subject......

Susan Green is making this so get your order in because we support
Holly Noelle's run for King. Nelly Belle is an official taste tester and I know she will
be raving about this delicacy soon.
