[Dailydrool] some good news for a change- no melanoma

I had posted a while back looking for info on canine melanoma of the eye. My
friend's basset Harold was seen by the vet eye specialist today and got the
fabulous news that the black spot in his iris is a benign cyst!  No cancer
at all, no treatment needed!  The vet had never seen this kind of cyst in a
basset and was prepared to deliver more serious news.  So in the midst of
all the recent sadness and loss there is a bit of good news.  Harold says
thanks for all the good Drool!
