[Dailydrool] Rescuing puppies

It is such a falacy to think that you cannot rescue puppies.

 

I am on #3 in the past 4 years.  Bruno came to us at 16 weeks - his 'issue' - malnutrition - fixed right up and his coat is as beautiful as the other dogs and his little body is filling out beautifully in just a month.  AND, sorry to rub it in, HE IS MOSTLY POTTY TRAINED!  Sorry - could not resist!  Pete came to us at about 16 weeks as well - issues?  None.  He came to us trained beautifully, thanks to Auntie Linda Lartique.  Hannah Lee Dawg came to us from Basset Rescue of FL at 12 weeks - her issue?  Parvo!  But she came to us a survivor and has been one of the lights of our lives ever since.

 

Sure - I would have loved to have met them at 8 weeks - but not if it meant shopping instead of adopting!
