[Dailydrool] Shaving dogs

Before we discovered the joys of bassets we had two samoyeds. One year  
their groomer recommended shaving them.  Our boy went outside for a  little 
while and he got sunburned. He wasn't even out for very  long.  You could still 
see white fur all over him but his coat  but must have been shorter than we 
realized. We felt absolutely horrible.  So if you do clip your dogs for 
summer BE CAREFUL!
