Maestro uses a nail board! He thinks it's fun, & it really does work for
us. My Mini Aussie will use it too. I haven't worked much on getting them
to do back feet yet, but Maestro will do 3 out of 4. I got an old kitchen
cabinet door for a buck at a building salvage place. It was already
finished, since I'm not at all handy with cutting anything. Lowe's had
heavy sandpaper stair tred safety strips. I think they were like 5 bucks.
I used 2. I used a wider board with a shorter stride than described on the
site since I have a wide, short dog. :-) My board ended up 14" wide by 20"
long, with the emery part a foot square. I may add another strip
eventually, but I haven't gotten to it.
We use it flat on the floor or propped at about a 45 degree angle.
I used a Mini Mite Dremel for years on Henry Wadsworth & the late Variety
Pack, but Maestro isn't fond of the noise. The board simlified my life &
his. I haven't seen the video, but this site has really good instructions.
(And treat recipes).
