Believe it or not, my next door neighbor that is the treasurer for the Collie Rescue in our area, told me that the rescue told her that the best thing for mosquitos is mouth wash in a spray bottle. Just spray the mouthwash directly on your skin or on the dog and it is suppose to do the trick. I haven't tried it myself yet, but I do intend to. I asked her if you dilute it, but she said no, full strenght. Worth a try and is cheaper than most crap out there.
