[Dailydrool] This and that

Just some comments.

 

First, give the cat that brought Trooper home with him a fresh fish dinner and double his weight in catnip for his efforts to get his new canine friend to the right people to help him. Three cheers for the kitty. (all together now) HIP HIP HURRAY! HIP HIP HURRAY! HIP HIP HURRAY!

 

Went to Basset fun day in Washigton over the weekend and it was good to meet some of the people and hounds that I have only read about. It ws a good time and Bubba and Penny slept all the way home and through to the next morning. I don't remember a day where either of them have played so hard and had so much fun. Penny even jumped up on the treat table to grab her self some loot.

 

Sunday will be Penny's Gotcha Day and I am busy trying to find something special for her and Bubba.I have been her loyal servant for two years now and have never regretted a minute. I just hope she's as happy to be here as I am to have her, although I'm not sure that's possible.

 

 I only hope that the weather will turn bad again so the kids will stay near me instead of going out and lounging in the sun. I know i'm being selfish and that it is not sunny and warm her in the Northwest often enough  but I like it when my hounds cuddle up next to me.

 

Well the hoounds are getting ready for one of their Basset Opera performance so I guess I'll have to be polite and stop writing this and listen to their melodious rendition.
