[Dailydrool] Transport Stories

I have yet to have a dog poop in my car, but I do have a canvas sling thing for the back seat with supposedly waterproof backing. And I have to say, I usually walk them for at least 10 minutes or so
to make sure they've pottied. I have only had 2 throw up.

I just have issues with dogs wanting to be on top of me. Took adorable Cooper Dooper to a Meet
and Greet on Saturday, and he climbed over the sling thing and insisted on riding on my lap on the freeway.
Once he was settled, he just stayed still and it was OK, but he wasn't about to get back into the back seat
or even sit alone on the front one (I have buckets, so they can get through). I have also had arm aches from
holding my arm across trying to keep a hound in the back.

My favorite transport memory though, is MacDougal. I picked him up from a shelter maybe 60 miles or
so away. He did stay in the backseat, but I drove all the way on the freeway with his paws on each of
my shoulders and his head resting on top of my head, from behind. I had a horrible neck crick and I
wondered how he could stay in that postion that long, too.
