Hello! My oldest Augie turned twelve last Tuesday. He is a beautiful boy, he
is well behaved, never pees or poohs in the house (unlike Yankee). If he has
to puke--he will even go in the kitchen, because it is tile. He has been our
angel dog. Augie now has an eye problem--he has been to the vet twice now-he
is getting eye ointment 3 times a day. He has an ulcer over his
cornea----appartently he scratched his eye somehow. He does have allergies
and I have to watch everything he eats & he still itches------Well he must
have got his eye pretty good, cause the vet showed me the ulcer & it is at
least 1/2 inch long. His eye is "rolling" up & 1/2 of his eye looks like
membrane showing most of the time. Augie will squint sometimes, and his eye
kinda weeps (draining), like a streak of tears. Before this happened both
his eyes had sorta a "blue" glaze to them for about 4 months. I just
thought, he is getting old and you know, some parts show age before others.
I am worried that he might go blind-----he still can see- at least
distance---cause he don't miss much that goes on in the yard, ie the
neighbors cats or anything else that passes by. Has anyone else had eye
issues like this???? You can email me off list or post which ever works
best.

One another note---I have used the cottage cheese & flax seed oil on Augie
for about 4 months now. He has multiple lumps---but one HUGE one on his
side.
It has not grown anymore, it really hasn't shrunk---but it is not as tight
as it was. His coat is beautiful though. So, I cannot say one way or another
whether this works or not, but I still will give it to him.

Thanks for the drool, you droolers are the best...Augie sends snooter kisses
to all of you!!!
