[Dailydrool] Fiona follow-up

Fiona saw a surgeon yesterday who was very optimistic as well as very persuasive fro a little girl who wanted to either be flat basset or hide behind the chairs.  She convinced him to give some belly rubs before the examination began.  Once it did, he was wonderful.  He said that, it was good that Fiona's ears were so big; it gave him more to work with because the cartilage went down farther.  That way he could take the tumor and some surrounding tissue without having to take the ear off completely.  Her ear will look funny afterwards, but it will be there.  

Her surgery is scheduled for Saturday morning and she'll come home on Sunday.
