[Dailydrool] Training update & ear question

Training update:  I'm trying to figure out who this red basset is.  It can't be Gallagher.  He learned the "come" command.  He actually comes when I call his name, and use the hand signal.  I thought it was random, but he does it - off leash - while at the beach.  Shocking.  He's still doing very well at class.  The instructor commented "very unusual for a Basset".  Well, hrmmmph!  


Ear question: The other two dogs were "kissing" MacKenzie.  We thought - how sweet, until I checked her ear.  She's got what looks like an open cut in her ear, that is bleeding.  Ears were cleaned last week at the groomers.  Very weird.    Off to the vet tomorrow.
