[Dailydrool] Trixie

Just an update on Trixie - kind of bittersweet - the test results confirm she has cancer - not lymphoma, but leukemia which is apparently slower acting.  She hasn't been herself for the last 2 weeks and it's so sad to watch.  She is comfortable, but she isn't really interested in food (so unusual) and is quite tired - trying a round of steriods which has helped other dogs with her condition.  We'll just have to see.  I am not going to let her suffer, but I am not ready to let her go yet either.  

I am so saddened about all the fires and the losses they have created.  I am keeping all in my prayers.  This also goes for all of you who have lost a beloved hound to illness or age too and lots of drool for those are in need too!
