[Dailydrool] Dog Bites

In response to Jonathan's post about getting bit:

 

Please everyone out there be careful about dog bites.  My friend just spent several days in the hospital after she was bitten by her shitzu-poodle mix.  They admitted her so they could keep her on IV antibiotics.

 

It's really not at all about the dog - it could be bacteria you have on you own skin that gets way down deep in the puncture wound.  Clean it as well as possible and then watch for any redness.  Don't fool around with bite wounds!
