Marcia, I am shocked that a dogsitter (that, surely is someone who understands dogs) allowed her wretched brat to assualt your dog. Can you not counter-sue her for dereliction of duty. After all, you pay her to come in and look after your pets. She was responsible for protecting them at that time.

My sweet-natured, gentle Clara lost her original home because she "bit" a toddler (although no skin was broken). Having had her with me for nearly three years I know that I am more likely to bite a child than she is. That kid must have done something to her.

People, particularly so-called dogsitters, need to teach children to treat dogs with respect.
I have many words for your 'dogsitter' and none of them are printable.
