Thanks for your reply.  I am sorry to hear about your troubles with MRSA.  The vet has a call in to a specialist and hasn't really given us any instructions yet, and with it being a holiday weekend, we don't expect to hear anything until Tuesday at the earliest.  We think he must have gotten it from the specialist he saw regarding his ears, as his regular vet diagnosed it after that visit but I don't know how we will ever know.  I wonder if my dogs and my toddler could have been exposed to it and I wonder if they will have us get tested?  From what we are reading on the internet though it's not that serious to Charley's health unless it gets in his bloodstream--I suppose they will just keep trying antibiotics until they find something that works?
