[Dailydrool] Aspall's Cyder Vinegar vs Apple Cider Vinegar - are they the same?

Bit concerned as dadslave has bought a bottle of the cyder vinegar (which he 
says contains apples of course, being cider...) for Morse's lips, BUT it doesnt 
smell appley at all, it smells very vinegary.  Is it the right stuff?
