[Dailydrool] Warning Biotene Use for Dogs

In response to Shannon's post regarding Biotene and use for dogs, please make sure you are getting the pet variant and not the human. The human variant contains Xylitol and it is very toxic to dogs even in small amounts. So please never use any of the Biotene products intended for human use on your babies. 
When looking for Biotene the pet variant is manufactured by Lacleade and the human is made by GSK, they acquired the human product in Nov of 2008. So please make sure what you have is of the pet variant and it will say Biotene Vet manufactured by Lacleade ( though some older human bottles also say Lacleade) and does not contain Xylitol.
