[Dailydrool] Cataracts

We took Honey to the vet today....we noticed a film on one of her eyes....seemed to come and go....We noticed over the weekend she could not see out of the eye....it is cataracts..she is 5 years old and has had her share of health issues....my concern is surgery...has anyone had this done.  I hear they have to be quiet for a week or so after the surgery....she did not test positive for diabetes and as soon as I get home I am  making an appointment for a specialist to look at her....
She is acting a little different...wants to be closer to me...or it is just my imagination....
