Congratulations to all the Rescue hounds on their field trial
victories...That is so awesome.

Colt woofing in, It was a lovely weekend here at ASTT HQ but Ruger and I
can sense that winter and colder weather be just around the corner.  So
we tell the momma that our beds be getting a little thin, we are older
hounds (now 3yrs old) need a little more support and some insulation
between the chilly floor, & our bones. Bottom line womenz you need to
get us a new bed. SO momma a cheap old buffalo...she says she recycle
and reusing stuff, saving the planet and all, I say she cheap but
whatever.  So she repurposed some really thick foam from her hound
supporting job that they were going to throw out.  She don't sew so she
took a couple of baby crib pads and rigged up a cover for the foam, then
put our old beds on top of that with a fitted bed sheet over all of it.
Now it may not be one of those high dollar temper-pedic beds but it
pretty good.  Aunt Val told momma that she sew us a proper bed cover for
it. So momma going to get some of that soft faux mink fur fabric for us,
so we be all snuggly and warm this winter.  Sometimes Ruger & I can get
her one little brain cell to fire and she gets a good idea....but whew,
can you smell the smoke bellowing from that womenz ears...she sitting
off the smoke detectors, wait I think I hear the fire trucks coming down
the street. It okay Mr. Fire Chief, it just our momma burning out her
one little brain cell.  Nope, we all okay here, okay go ahead and hose
her down if you think you need to.
