So sorry for your loss of Buddydawg, he sounds like he was a real trooper. 
Having recently lost our Belle, we know exactly how you are feeling. 
Eventually has not come for us yet but the happy memories are starting to 
take over the sad a little bit more each day.  Take comfort in knowing he is 
not suffering anymore and you gave him a great life.
