I could not agree more. It breaks my heart that people dump their animals for a host of reasons. I have been doing cat rescue for over 12 years and the heart breaking things that people do still surprises me. 

I went though a lot the last 9 months with my 16 year old basset .. diapers, fluilds etc. and when people say they can not move down the street with their cat I want to slap them. They have no idea what hard is! I am off my soap box now.
