[Dailydrool] brrr... buster is a wuss!

last sunday the gang & i  traveled to pennsylvania for the mid atlantic fundraiser  'hotcakes for hounds"...we got up at the crack o' dawn & stumbled off to the wilds of pennsy.  no big deal (well ok it was...it was dark, it was early, it was nippy..but hey the sacrifices we make for the needy hounds)..i had such good intentions...buster had a nifty new chef's costume to wear for the day...he modeled it a few day's before & looked down right dashing in it.  

i should tell you the damn fool now runs & poses for me when i dress him in something or place props near him...he has become such a camera whore...it is too funny...last week i took some shots of him with my park service stetson (AKA the smokey bear hat) & a smokey puppet so now he is a smokey basset..

anyway i digress..we got to the applebees..& it was warmer..but our table was in the shade...there is buster stylin in his costume & SHIVERING!  sally was fine.  lowla was fine...& mr i want to sing to raise $$ for rescue...whimpering & looking pathetic!  finally he got a blanket to sit on & that didn't help, a friends car pulled up for him, that didn't help...& his grand attempt at mid-october fund raising...for wussy boy was a bust.  he so needs to be relocated to a sunny warm state!

sally made out like a bandit as much sausage was dropped for her since it was her birthday...& she was NOT pathetic.  buster was retired to the van & blankies...were he joined lowla who said she needed her beauty sleep.

much moola was raised.  much carbs were enjoyed.  much fun was had.  it was a success.  buster said he will only be making cold weather appearances in thermal snowsuits from 10/1 from now on wuss.  so embarrassing.
