I have been many fine places. I waddle in the pawprints of my momcakes
and Aunties feyfey and Taco WOOF Bell who went many fine places......but
I must protest the vanquishing of us fine houndies from outdoor
places.........
My dear friend who might aspire to  Q someday, Pw. GM Xandy Bear and her
annoying, er, energetic consort Hugmonster went to visit my Aunties Pat
and Carolslave in anticipation of Slobberfest. This is before my she
slave decided that flying is harder than driving and before Momcakes and
I began going.

Aunties Pat and Carol were asked to do a home visit for Droopy Basset
Rescue. Blondeslave, my slave, Pw. GM XB and Hugmonster went along. The
poor woman must have been overwhelmed at the sight of the veritable
coven showing up with two bassets to check her out.....she suggested
that they visit the GROUND HOG FESTIVAL before leaving. Yes, I woofed
Ground Hog. As in Punxatawny. They duly checked in with the hosts, Phil
and Phyllis Groundhog (seriously) and set out to look around the booths.
Some lady all but vaulted over a table screaming at my slave to get XB
out! NO DOGS!!! Then the gendarmes came and told her the same, although
more politely. The NERVE!! My friend XB, a PW! A Grand Mawshall!! Tossed
out of a furry festival. Plus Hugmonster....

I no longer celebrate Ground Hog day. It is a day of sadness. My friends
were insulted.
