  I have had Violeta in my prayers along with you and her daddy.
I loved the article you passed along, especially the action shot of the
hounds out of the "starting gate" for a round of racing!
It is fun to let non Basset folks see that there is a side to them that can
be very active.
Xaxa is one handsome hound and I pray your vet is correct and he will live
another 4 yrs!
