"Tater takes a Trip" is a new childrens book about a basset who visits the grand buffet......he is a rescued hound..living the great life in his new home but with a health issue...he takes matters into his own paws so to speak.  while life at the buffet is full of fun he misses his mom ...

the book is all photo's (since i can not draw a straight line) of bassets and other assorted dogs..most of whom are all rescues.  it does have a happy ending & is loosely based on the stories you read here in the drool about the "buffet".  proceeds mostly go to mid atlantic basset hound rescue & dog mountain & the dog chapel up in st johnsbury, vermont , which altho is not a non-profit is very dear to my heart.  they are on the financial edge.
