[Dailydrool] Amazon link on DD home page?

I always used the Amazon link on the DD home page so that Aunt Nancy would get a little revenue for the home page upkeep. I see that the new home page doesn't have that link anymore. Is Amazon not offering that deal any longer? Does another basset site have an Amazon link?  I've decided to take the plunge and buy a Kindle. If a rescue can benefit from my purchase, I'll go through them.

Isabella has been at the vetspital off and on this week for back issues. Turns out that she has a compression in her spine and zero cartilage in her hips. I know this didn't happen overnight, but the pain seems to have come on overnight. She went to the vet on Tuesday and came home Wednesday with meds and stuff. Thursday night she cried all night long from the pain, so the vet came back and picked her up yesterday. They were going to give her more shots and maybe another acupuncture treatment. She was stable last night, but I haven't heard from the vet yet today. A wee bit of back lubricating drool would be appreciated.

Also, if anybody has any idea how to keep a hound used to jumping on and off furniture from doing so, I'm all ears!
