[Dailydrool] Talking basset

*Aaaahrrrooooo!!  Arfur heer.  I tawk to my mama an' papa evry day.  Evry
mornin' I clime on dere bed an' lay nex' to papa an' tell him evryfing dat
iz on my mind.  Sumtimes its sad, sumtimes its happy, sumtimes I'm hungry
an' udder times I'm hungry too!  Mama sez she nebber herd a doggy like me
tawk so gud.  Hope she noze how hard it iz to tawk wike a peeple fer us
houndies.
Mama here, it's true, Arfur talks to us every morning and his pitch varies
from high to low and he truly tries to talk to us.  It is truly amazing.  He
often talks for a long time - first to Bill and then to me and to us both.
When I look into those big brown eyes and listen to him, you can almost
understand.
