[Dailydrool] Lemon Bassets

Hello, I am requesting some information!  Two years ago, I adopted an adorable basset named Maggie from Emmy Little of GABR.  I re-named Maggie Saffron (Saffie) in honour of her very light colour.  I suppose she is lemon and white?  She certainly is much lighter than my red and white basset, Mr. Jake!


My question is, when is a basset lemon and white vs. red and white?  Is this a purely subjective determination?  Thanks.
