[Dailydrool] Stuart is sad

On Monday night, Stuart, and Duncan (a Bldhnd) lost their good buddy Sam. Sam was a Springer, 14 1/2 yrs  old. She passed away, at home, after pacing and panting late in the evening . She had eaten her supper before that, and was acting her usual quiet self.
She passed away in their sleeping quarters, and the two hounds were quite upset in the morning, they both knew something wasn't right.They avoided her body and were quiet. (Very unusual for my barking Basset!) The rescue Wheaton wouldn't get out of his bed. Interesting reactions.
Sam will have her ashes scattered at her favourite place, at the cabin by a lake.
RIP Sammy.
