[Dailydrool] maggie update

hello to all the basset lovers out there. we've been in the new house for 6 days now. i think maggie is doing good. as long as mommy and daddy are with her. we haven't left her home alone yet. i'm nervous about doing so but eventually we'll have to. at the old place we had no neighbors so if she barked, it wasn't bothering anyone. now we have nieghbors and it's a little different. her UTI is much better. a few more days of medication. we're getting through the pill taking by a thread. i've even given her a pill with a spoonful of vanilla ice cream. i'm not sure if that's a nono or not. i've been reading lately a lot about thundershirts here in the DD. i found a very good article about them at  myneworleans.com  by jay forman. it's basically about products that sell on tv and are really not as good as they say they are. thundershirts actually do work but he thinks they are unattractive so he wants to make the same product but in different styles for girls and boys. just letting you know,if you're interested.  kimberly & maggie
