Today's Daily Drool calendar page is our Marie ATB, Ysabeau (Izzy) and Jean
Claude, of Hood River, OR. Marie left us last year after battling cancer,
and now Jean Claude, her littermate, has lymphoma. He is doing well - not
having any issues tolerating the chemo. Izzy is a basset mix rescue, though
you have to look really closely at her flews and ignore her ears and the
webbed toes to see it. Though she definitely has a basset demeanor. As a
still very young dog, a little over a year, she's either all off or all on.
The couch is her favorite spot, along with any empty lap she can find
(especially if there is food in the vicinity). And she smells like Fritos.
The couch is now filled by these two and a young rescue black lab mix,
Daphne.
