[Dailydrool] Hugging and c at t help, puleeze

Bonejour,  Pw Penny and Pw Polly woofin' in from across the waves in France.

Firstly lurps and drool to all in need.   So many houndies going to the Bridge <sigh>

We would like to add our opinions to the "hugging" subject.  We love hugs :)  When da mum did her Behaviourist course one of the things she learnt was, as Bev said, hugging is felt like a constraint to dogs.  She doubted that from the start (she's a good mum hehehe).  Moi, Pw Penny love hugs from da mum, but ONLY from da mum.  Sis Pw Polly gives her hugs to anyone.

Tail wagging only to humans????  Nope - tail wagging for everyone.  Pw Polly's tail wags permanently, that's why we call her Pollyopter (like in helicopter!).  It even wags when she's asleep! Reminds you of the rabbit in the battery ad!

As you know, we have our summer house guest - Katina da c at t.  Moi, Pw Penny, is delighted -  food and kitty crunches in a permanent buffet display.  What more could I wish for?  However, we are not really c at t people/hounds so we have a little question for any feline specialists out there (Droolers know EVERYTHING).  When Katina goes to the bathroom she miaows (be it liquid or solid dejections) - is it to tell us she's going, been? Or is there some problem (pain etc) ?  Thanks for any input - private emails would be fine.  She is 21 and deaf if that is any help.
