I have always said let the name fit the basset..Remember Fey Fey, Nudgie and 
Cakie? The names fit them to the letter and their stories they told live on 
forever.

I have had Fred & Ethel, Millie, Lucy, Nellie, Bessie, Jethro, Louie and 
Maggie

What surprises me is that I didn't name any of my boys Columbo when I was 
such a big fan of the series.
