First of all, any husky rescue KNOWS that huskies are high energy. The dog may or may not have intended to hurt anyone - they usually love everyone (I have 5 huskies) but are very energetic and bounce off the walls. We call one of ours the energizer husky for this reason. This can scare anyone not used to them. I wasn't there so I don't know if the huskies intended harm or not. That is beside the point. The point is, they should have been controlled. Yes, it is possible to control them, I control mine on a daily basis. If it were me, I would simply explain what happened and how you and your daughter and her dog were affected by it. You might mention it could also give potential adopters the wrong idea about huskies and prevent them from being adopted otherwise. The huskies need obedience training (as do all dogs) - this would also help their chances of being adopted. The volunteers should be advised to keep the dogs clear of the entrance and to exercise them WELL before they take them to the adoption events. "A tired husky is a good husky." Crates work pretty well, too.

All of this is mho based on my years of experience with huskies.
